CANCELLATIONS
We value the time you set aside to visit Amajoy, as we know you value the time we reserve for your appointment. 24-hour notice is required to cancel an appointment without charge. If you are unable to give 24 hours notice, you will be charged a $75 late-cancellation fee, due before your next scheduled appointment (pay by check in the mail or by Paypal). Note: Monday appointments must be cancelled by noon Saturday by email or text to avoid this charge. No show or forget your appointment? There's a charge. Emergency cancellation? No charge - if something untoward happens within the 24 hour period, let us know as soon as possible by email or text. Illness cancellation? No charge. Please review the illness policy below. Snow cancellation? No charge. We put your family's driving safety first whenever weather is inclement. However, we appreciate as much advance notice as possible by email or text. PAYMENT Payment is required at your appointment or before hand by PayPal. Bounced checks will be charged a $25 service fee. Thank you for your understanding. IN CASE OF ILLNESS You must cancel your session if you or your child are sick. At Amajoy, we expect 24 hours notice if someone in your family has a cold. If you or your child become ill within 24 hours of your appointment, there is no charge, however, we ask that you let us know by email or text as soon as possible. Our work together is contraindicated when the immune system is busy with an acute condition. This includes colds, fever, ongoing runny nose, cough or chronic cough. If you’re thinking of phoning to discuss whether the symptoms are acceptable, I'll always err on the side of caution and healing and tell you no. Text us to let us know you or your child are sick. We’ll reschedule soon - we look forward to seeing you next time! FRAGRANCE-FREE Thank you for being fragrance free at your appointment in my office or your home. We ask that you refrain from using scented products on the day of your appointment. |
