There is no need to force, sometimes she will just yield in to this position. The more you hold her with her knees to her belly, the easier she will find it to be in this position.
Let her arch back whenever she wants! Then, bring her back to Baby Ball.
I came up with 'Baby Ball' working with Catherine Burns in the Developmental Movement and Learning project. This term became part of the Infant Developmental Movement Education program of The School for Body Mind Centering.
It was and still is my hope, that if parents take away nothing else, they'll know that Baby likes and benefits from being held in a ball, and grown ups need to help her find this position sometimes.
